When The RegTech Association (RTA) launched in 2016, it set out with a bold ambition: to become a global centre of excellence for regulatory technology, helping businesses worldwide build higher-performing, ethical, and compliant operations. More than just a membership body, RTA brings together government, regulators, corporates, and founder-led RegTech companies, an ecosystem united by the drive to accelerate RegTech adoption.
Manning & Co. was engaged early in this journey to help RTA not only define its voice but also amplify it. Manning & Co. came on board at a pivotal moment. The Association needed more than just promotion—it needed a voice, a platform, and a strategy that would bring members together while showing the wider industry what RegTech could achieve.
We worked across several fronts:
● Strategic events: Designed and executed the RegTech Association Roundtable Marketing Strategy, covering pre-event planning, live-event management, and post-event engagement. These roundtables quickly became key forums for regulators, corporates, and innovators.
● Media and PR: Supported ABC interview preparation and attendance, secured media opportunities (Innovation Aus, Criterion), and built media lists to expand reach and influence.
● Digital and creative execution: Updated and developed website pages, video content, photography, and membership collateral. We also refreshed the membership pack structure and offering to strengthen engagement.
● Community engagement: Drove post-event activity across LinkedIn and Twitter to sustain conversations, while liaising with members, corporate sponsors, and government stakeholders such as the NSW Department of Industry.
● Strategic advisory: Provided input on new initiatives, including the RegTech Index ideas and membership growth strategies, ensuring the Association’s offering stayed relevant and future-focused.
The result was momentum. Manning & Co.’s partnership with RTA shows what’s possible when strategy and storytelling align: vision becomes visibility, and influence becomes impact.
