Client Services Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

Manning & Co. We are searching for a highly motivated and stand out Client Services Manager to join the team. We are after someone who loves B2B content and digital marketing and has a strong passion for client services. We are also after someone who excels at communication on all fronts.

You will understand agency life and consulting as well as have experience working client side. You will understand B2B marketing and overall the working of consultancy and business more broadly. You will be able to execute detailed marketing communications and PR strategies for clients with minimal management, personally and through account teams. You will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3-5 years’ B2B marketing experience across sectors including technology/IT and professional services
  • Some level of agency/consultancy experience too
  • Strong content writing and communication skills with minimal input
  • Hands on content and digital marketing experience
  • In-depth understanding of B2B marketing and business overall
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work without supervision
  • Hold a marketing, communications or public relations degree or similar tertiary qualification
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE 

This role reports directly to the Managing Director (MD) and is responsible for delivering excellent client outcomes and helping build excellent client relationships in Australia and elsewhere.

This role will be a key contact for the assigned clients as well as other clients as required and will need to execute local and international marketing strategies.

You will understand the industries you work in, including the dynamics, issues and direction in which they are heading. You will be able to execute high level marketing communications and PR strategies for clients with minimal management, personally and through account teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key contact for your clients executing campaigns across all areas of marketing, but especially content, social and digital.
  • Set digital and social strategies for your assigned clients, considering their specific requirements
  • Day-to-day relationships at all levels within each client
  • Work with our strategic planner on the coordination of your client work with the design and production team
  • Produce well written and accurate content, especially short form content (eDMS, LP, social posts etc).
  • Suggest and design social media strategies, especially in LinkedIn
  • Ensuring work is done to the highest standard, deadlines met and enlisting the support/help/advice from the team as appropriate
  • Manage detailed communications with clients responding promptly and delivering successfully to all requests
  • Be able to coordinate and manage local events
  • Understand clients’ business, be pro-active on clients’ accounts
  • Measure and report to clients on ROI and marketing metrics via timely WIP’s , agendas, and monthly reports
  • Ensure that 90% of your week is spent on billable client hours
