AGSM are a well-established business school that, after undergoing a number of internal structural changes were in need of an outsourced marketing partner to help with the execution and launch of an interactive digital view book and a number of other marketing initiatives such as event coordination and developing an online learning platform.
A Manning & Co consultant was appointed to work in-house for a number of weeks to oversee and project management the execution of the digital view book. M&C worked across all aspects of the project including project managing, account managing, copy writing, client interviewing and liaising with other externals such as web developers and designers.
As an external consultant working within a highly political environment such as a university, M&C were able to cut through some of the internal barriers that exist when trying to get a highly innovative initiative off the ground through flexible marketing strategies. Having regular touch points with AGSM team members and outsourced agencies meant the digital view book was successfully launched within a 6 week turnaround period. The AGSM digital viewbook was awarded the winner of the PAGE Creative Excellence Awards for the corporate web category in 2013, showing that our flexible marketing strategies worked well amidst the time frame challenge.
