Can you tell me how long you’ve been working at M&C and what your role is?
It’s been an amazing first year so far, and I’m currently the Creative Lead at Manning & Co.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I work remotely from Jakarta, so my day kicks off with a solid cup of coffee (non-negotiable). I take some time to review and prioritise the projects I need to focus on. Most of my tasks revolve around design, this includes creating whitepapers, proposal decks, cover banners, and social media tiles. I also collaborate with the team to review and discuss storyboards, videos, and podcasts.
When are you most productive?
Definitely in the morning. That’s when I’m in the zone, right after I’ve had my coffee and mapped out my tasks for the day. My mind feels clearest and most focused during that time, which helps me get into a solid creative flow and make the most progress. Then comes lunch… the real highlight of the day! Gotta refuel properly, right?
Where do you get your creativity from?
I find inspiration everywhere, through my surroundings, everyday experiences, and simply observing how people interact with the world. Even small things, like a colour combination on a building or a design on a billboard, can spark an idea.
I also get tons of inspiration from scrolling through Instagram and TikTok. Some of the content out there is seriously next-level, and it pushes me to take my own ideas further. Seeing what other creatives are doing keeps things exciting and fresh, it motivates me to experiment, explore new styles, and keep evolving in my own work.
Are you playing any games at the moment?
Yep! I’m really into online chess (hit me up if you want to play!). I also love simulation games like Cities: Skylines, Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster, Jurassic World Evolution, and Civilization—they’re the perfect blend of creativity and problem-solving. On mobile, I play MOBA and MMORPG games in my free time.
Do you have any pets? How many? What are their names?
I’ve always been a dog person. They’re loyal, loving, and the best companions. I currently have two dogs, and while they have very different personalities, they both mean the world to me.
First, there’s Lanaya, she’s a 10-year-old Siberian Husky (I call her Yaya). She’s super chill but can get really active and loves going for walks. She lives with my in-laws in Puncak, where the weather’s perfect for her. I visit her about once a month, and she still gets super hyped every time she sees me.
Then there’s Bomi, a 4-year-old Pomeranian who lives with me. She’s tiny but full of sass and energy. She follows me around the house like a little shadow and loves to interrupt my work for belly rubs. Basically, she runs the place.
