That’s why we’re pleased to announce the promotion of Ben Marosa to Client Success Executive, following his journey from Performance Marketing Coordinator to Client Success. This milestone reflects Ben’s personal and professional growth, as well as the value he brings to our clients and the wider Manning & Co. team.
A career built from the ground up
Ben’s journey with M&C began while studying at Macquarie University, when he came across an internship opportunity.
“I decided to apply, knowing that this would be the perfect role for me,” Ben recalls.
He joined the team as a Performance Marketing Coordinator, gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing and learning how to measure, analyse, and optimise digital marketing performance for clients.
Building on that foundation, Ben then moved into a Client Success role, taking ownership of a client account and strengthening his skills in marketing strategy, account management, and client relationships.
“I really enjoyed the increased responsibility and the satisfaction of delivering positive, measurable results to the client,” he says.
Now, as a Client Success Executive, Ben is taking on even greater responsibility across a broader client portfolio, which he is really excited about: “I’m proud of this milestone and grateful for the support.”
Growth doesn’t happen alone
While individual drive is important, Ben credits much of his development to the people he has worked with along the way. That support, he says, is a major reason he is where he is today: “The help and support I have received from the Manning & Co. team is the reason I’m where I am today.”
From learning the foundations of digital marketing to managing clients, Ben has benefited from the team’s expertise and applied that knowledge in increasingly senior roles.
Adaptability has become a cornerstone of Ben’s approach: “Work can move quickly at Manning & Co., and you’ll often find yourself outside your comfort zone. Learning and stepping outside your comfort zone can be just as valuable as the skills you bring with you on day one.”
A fresh perspective from the road
Ben’s promotion comes after two months of travelling, giving him the chance to escape his usual routine and experience something completely different. During that time, Turkey stood out.
“I spent a week driving across the south coast of Turkey, and it was some of the most beautiful coastlines I have ever seen,” he says. The experience allowed Ben to explore new places, meet friendly people, and embrace an experience far removed from Sydney daily life.
His biggest takeaway from travelling? Push yourself to try something new.
“The best things might not always be what you expect, so make sure to give it a go. Whether it is something you enjoyed or not, you would have never known if you didn’t try.”
What’s next for Ben?
Now back in Sydney and stepping into his new role, Ben brings that same level of curiosity and openness into this next stage of his career. Looking back, his journey from a fresh intern to full-time Client Success Executive shows what’s possible when you seize opportunities, learn from those around you, and stay open to new challenges.
As Ben puts it: “Being adaptable, staying open to learning, and taking on new challenges can be just as valuable as the skills you start with.”
