Can you tell me how long you’ve been working at M&C and what your role is?
I’ve just joined M&C as Client Success and Strategy Manager!
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Busy! My typical workday is bookended with daddy duties so I have two jobs to work at. I usually see my son off to school in the morning before returning home or heading off to the office.
What kind of media are you interested in? What genre do you like best?
The main kinds of media I engage with are books, online videos, and games. I tend to prefer non-fiction material, particularly media on history, geography, and science. In terms of fiction, I prefer fantasy and sci-fi.
Do you have any passion projects you are working on at the moment or that you have worked on in the past?
Having several hobbies that I have acquired over the years, I have a few permanently ongoing passion projects.
In piano, I have been trying to learn all 6 of Bach’s Partitas, however with limited practice time I’ve only made it halfway through Partita No. 1 at the moment.
In medieval calligraphy, I recently started copying out and fully illuminating a Gothic manuscript of the New Testament in Latin in a beautiful leatherbound volume I bought from Florence, Italy.
In cross-stitch, I have been working on a cross-stitch version of da Vinci’s Last Supper painting very intermittently for some years, I’m not even halfway through yet.
But hey, it’s the journey, not the destination, that counts, eh?
Are you a morning person or a night person?
Definitely a night person. But I am a night person trapped in a morning person’s body, since schools start at 7.30am here.
