Can you tell me how long you’ve been working at M&C and what your role is?
I recently rejoined M&C as a Senior Graphic Designer.
In this role, I create and oversee a wide range of visual assets, including social media content, marketing collateral, presentations, reports, and digital campaigns. I work closely with different teams to ensure the creative output is both visually engaging and aligned with each client’s goals and brand.
Having previously worked at M&C, it’s been great to return to a familiar environment while taking on more responsibility and bringing the experience I’ve gained over the years into my current role.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I’m definitely a morning person, so I like to start my day with a workout. I usually go to the gym for about an hour, three to four times a week, before work. It gives me an energy boost, helps me clear my mind, and sets a positive tone for the rest of the day.
Once I’m at my desk, I check Wrike and Teams, then plan my priorities for the day. I like to tackle my more creative work in the morning while my focus is at its best, then spend the afternoon refining designs, responding to feedback, and preparing files for delivery.
Every day brings a different project or creative challenge, which is one of the things I enjoy most about being a designer.
What kind of media are you interested in (reading, movies, music, podcasts. Etc). What genre do you like best?
I occasionally read self-development books, especially when there’s a topic I’m trying to improve or learn more about. These days, though, I probably spend more time watching podcasts on YouTube than reading. My interests are pretty broad, I enjoy everything from comedy and politics to self-development and productivity, depending on my mood. I have to admit that years of doomscrolling on TikTok have shortened my attention span a little. Ironically, one thing that helps is putting on a long-form podcast about a serious topic before bed. Somehow, it’s much easier for me to fall asleep listening to a two-hour discussion than watching short videos, so podcasts have become my unofficial sleep aid.
What is one thing that instantly makes your day better?
A good cup of matcha. It’s become part of my daily routine and always puts me in a good mood. I like coffee too, but my caffeine tolerance is surprisingly low, so coffee can sometimes be a little too effective. Matcha gives me a gentler boost, and honestly, it’s one of the easiest ways to improve my day.
What are some of your main hobbies?
I guess you could say travelling is one of my main hobbies, although I don’t think I’ve earned the title of a traveller just yet. I’ve made it a personal goal to visit at least one new place every year, whether it’s somewhere in Indonesia or overseas. I enjoy experiencing different cultures, trying local food, and simply taking a break from my daily routine.
Do you have anything that helps you with productivity?
Music definitely helps me stay productive. I usually listen to instrumental music or lo-fi playlists while I’m designing because they help me focus without being too distracting.
Are you playing any games at the moment?
I used to play games a lot when I was younger, but I’m not much of a gamer these days. The only game I still play occasionally is Mobile Legends, usually with my friends. It’s less about the game itself and more about catching up, having a few laughs, and unwinding after a busy week.
